Beginning Tea Party

              Our class NTUA culture creativity campus exposition now . The time is 5.15-5.23.2010. The subject is Paper factory os. Os is represents Open Studio the abbreviation, also outside has melts the sound meaning.

      At 5.15.2010,19:00 Saturday, we are at old paper field hold beginning tea party. Before then, we catch up with the work diligently. Spend many time transform this environment, arranges own studio attentively.
Many participation person on Saturday night. Thank yours  support. The exposition was soon ended. And, welcome everybody to visit.(5/15-5/23)

A Comparison of Two Pictures

            Although left and right picture are describing same the themes, there are quite a few differences. The left picture is James Tissot's work. The right picture is Manet's work. The compositions of a picture are quite similar. There are four people taking a picnic in the woods. However, in Manet's picture actually receives a quite big controversy, but James Tissot's picture is not. Why are they so different?


One difference is color. James Tissot's picture is brightly colored. Manet's picture is darker than James Tissot's. For example, Manet's tree is brown. James Tissot's tree is green. Second difference is perspective. James Tissot's picture has space and depth, whereas Manet's picture does not show the sense of space. Manet uses the not clear way. There are causes around which the audience cannot see clearly, their positions to each other. I am unable around the resolution to relate. The third difference is manufacture age. James Tissot's picture is completed in 1870, and Manet's picture is completed in 1863.

The final difference is clothing. They are putting on the magnificent clothes in James Tissot's picture. In the Manet's work, the female is naked, but the male is dressed like gentleman. This is not permitted in the 19th century's society. The middle class emerges in the Industrial Revolution’s influence. The middle class starts to have ability to purchase the art work. Moreover, the Industrial Revolution brings the influence, that the labor opposites the middle class, so the middle class don’t like the artistic work which leads a life of comfort.

All in all, there are differences between the James Tissot's work and Manet's work, and their work actually faces the different destiny in the art history.

the thief's carnival

       I get out of bed very early today, because my friend has a performance in the afternoon. I am very excited. All stemmed from yesterday evening, the department of Drama's schoolmate want taking advantage of the work to take the stage scenery, my work was very lucky is chosen on. Therefore they invite me to visit their performance. They invite me to participate free. I goes to my studio makes the work very early. My time is press, because my exhibition soon will start at next week, but my work is not yet complete. I worried very much, but I want to see my work to use in the stage. This is my first time lends the work for other people to arrange the stage. The work can receive them to like causes me to be very happy.

       I see a play together with my friend this afternoon. This is my first time to go the experiment the theater to watch the drama. This is a star anise's building, the inside space is not big. This performance is the third-grade student. Many people watch this interesting performance. The performance subject is the thief's carnival. The story occurs in the 50s's Shanghai, between three thieves and rich family amusing thing. The actor performs lifelike. I am very happy my work to be able on which helps in this performance. The matter what a pity is in the performance cannot photograph, therefore I am unable to leave behind the commemoration.
    After watching this performance, I very self-satisfied I am the university of Arts student.

About mine birthday

             I am very usually busy with the schoolwork and Creation. A week has the time to be able very rarely to rest. This day of exception, April 25 is my birthday, therefore I decided that has oneself one day of vacation. My  mobile phone receives many person of news blessing.      I have the lunch together with mine high school good friends.

                 We have chosen a famous Hamburg restaurant -Evans Burger. We were waitting position one hour.Finally, trades us to dine. I have chosen the BBQ Hamburg, is as expected lets me not disappointed. Afterward, we were chat in near university. We passed a leisurely and carefree afternoon in there.

Then, I go to KTV with mine university classmate to sing. Specially, is they give me a lovable cake.

This cake is the strawberry and the pudding mix, I like this taste. In addition, my friend has prepared  firework. We go to the riverbank  to set off the firework. Bloomed the firework to bring in police's care, afterward we discovered only then the national or significant holiday to be able to do.  This is the wrong demonstration, do not attempt. My birthday was not the significant holiday to the country, but for me was actually the significance is significant. Summary, this is one very happy day, thanks everybody's blessing.

My classmate sends e-mail to me, she shares an interesting short film with me today. This short film has about the famous artistic work, the display creativity reorganizes. Now, many work inspiration originated from before great picture, simultaneously also utilized formerly had used the technique to annotate the work again. But this movie is very special, it uses popular technique - 3D to make the creation. The author joins its creativity to ponder that causes the work becomes interesting. It provides us another kind of onlooking the way.

In April 25 birth artists

        My teacher takes an interesting book to give us today. The book`s name is Birthday book, about artist birthday.The teacher Huang Yuan-chin to be very happy with Leonardo da Vinci are the same day birth. We seek individual  with our same birthday artist. Before seeking, I worry nobody with my same day birth.
Soon, I find three artist are born in the same day. There are Giovanni Battista Foggini, Karel Appel, Cy. Twombly and I.

Giovanni Battista Foggini was an Italian sculptor active in Florence. He was born in 1652. His work is renowned mainly for small bronze statuary.

Karel Appel was born in Amsterdam in the Netherlands in 1921.

He was one of the founders of the COBRA group, which has had great influence on art in Scandinavia.

Cy. Twombly was born in Lexington, Virgina, 1928. In the early 1950s he was influenced by Kline and also, by Paul Klee and he studied the possibilities of gestural-expressionistic brush strokes. He developed a sensitive web of signs, words, numbers and representational fragments.

Wang Wei-ting was born in Taipei,1985.She is still a young star in creation of painting. She hopes to succeed one day, and to make her dream come true.

My studio

             Be an artists needs space to wrok. I can read, creation and ponder in the space.  Many artists lack the space to work. I am so lucky  because the school provides to me a space to work. The space at National Taiwan University of Arst Cultural Creative Industry Division. (  No.28, Sec. 2, Daguan Rd., Banqiao City )

          The Cultureal Creative Industry Division  originally is the old paper factory. With the times passes, the paper factory loses it original function. National Taiwan University of Arts rents the paper factory to the Executive Yuan. The paper factory transforms the Cultural Creativit Industry Division. The Cultural Creativity Industry Division contains the artists studio, the glass workshop, the ceramics workshop, the lacquerware workshop and the NTUA art gallery.
        I can see a park in front of mine studio. There often has the populace to make the movement, dances in the park. There has a sculpture park behind in studio. My studio is a very special room, it has two gates. A gate which uses except me, another gate is leads to my schoolmate the room. I often want to open it secretly, looked that my schoolmate is making anything. I have a very big table in mine studio, but it doesn`t have many spaces to put the thing. Looks like woman's pocket, is forever insufficient.

       My work room looks like my little world. I fantasized willfully in here that creates the new work, the establishment belongs to my world. It is not disturbed in here and has the space to deposit own work. Thanks the school to provide to me the studio.
