David LaChapelle's exhibition (MOCA TAIPEI)

I went to Museum of Contemporary Art Taipei with my friend yesterday. We visit the new exhibition- David Lachapelle. David LaChapelle is a World-renowned American photographer. He is an accomplished artist in many fields such as fashion photography, documentary films, direction of music videos, contemporary art  and exhibition design.

In recent years, the artist was named as one of the "ten most important photographers in the world".

LaChapelle’s talent was already apparent in his youth. He was offered his first professional job by Andy Warhol to shoot for Interview magazine at the age of seventeen. Then, his fame as a photographer rose with the Hollywood celebrity culture.

LaChapelle’s works have a tendency to spread a dreamlike dimension over reality.

LaChapelle captures the brilliant world of celebrities to describe. His fashion photography is consume the public celebrities images. He used strange color. For example, Fluorescence color was uncommon in the past. This exhibition gives me many inspirations.

Meantime, other exhibition in  Museum of Contemporary Art Taipei is NINA Kovacheva and Valentin Stefanoff. They together exploration of the excess of desire.
According to Jacques Lacan, determines our relationship with and alienation from the Other.

Finally, I recommend everybody to look at this exhibition. LaChapelle’s works is good!
